Gomostapur (Bengali: গোমস্তাপুর) is an Upazila of Nawabganj District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Gomostapur has a population of 191972. Males constitute 50.66% of the population, and females 49.34%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 96032. Gomostapur has an average literacy rate of 32.9%, and the national average of 32.4% literate.
